how long in california do we have to wait until we can go in and remove belongings and change locks after a tenant abandons rental house. renter was not pay rent by the way. a 3 day or quit was posted on house also

Talk to a Lawyer CA is very complicated I wouldn't be surprised if you had to go through the whole eviction process.
