A tenant used her last month payment up but wants to stay her security deposit. I said no. She is refusing to leave before she uses her security deposit. She has already broken the lease by not waiting till the lease ends. She is claiming some parts of the house do not heat up enough. I got her 3 space heaters she wants to pay less because she and her boyfriend split. I told her it’s ok to leave if she can no longer afford the house. She wants to use her security deposit for rent. Please help!
