How to apply last months rent when tenant is evicted in Missouri

Does "last months" rent, that is paid at move in, get applied to damages to the house when they get evicted or is it just rent? Or is there a chance it doesn't get applied to anything?! Thanks

I take any funds that I have collected and use it towards any thing that is owed rent/damages. Create a bill showing what the money was used for and the amount of the outstanding balance or a check for any remaining money.
