Forum / Move-Out & Eviction / Eviction
I live in CT. I have 1 rental property in my 2 family home that i live in. I have tenants who have resorted to calling the police on me for being loud after 10pm. Before they even took an application, i explained to them that my spouse and I work late and were not quiet people. They said that wasnt a problem and wanted the apt anyway. They have 6 months left on their lease. They are also not quiet (they have visitation of her son on weekends) and he gets up at 5am and starts jumping and running and has woken me up on weekend mornings quite often. I have never called the police but have made them aware that it is not appropriate either. So my question is can i evict them for #1 being caught smoking in the hallway of a smoke free unit. #2 allowing a puppy over to visit on several occassions in a pet free unit and #3 waking me up almost every weekend with jumping and running? Do i have a legal reason to evict for any of the above issues?

RE: Eviction
Look into a 3-Day Notice to correct lease violation or move.
