Forum / Move-Out & Eviction / Cleaning and Repair Fee's

Our Tenant moved out and did not clean anything. It was disgusting. In our contract (VA), it say's there will be a cleaning fee of $450.00. We cleaned it ourselves over several days and now the tenant is insisting on a receipt. Also, for other repairs we did ourselves that the contract states. Do I have to give her a receipt and if so, can I make one myself?

i would create one on this site, but if the fee was non refundable it was already known they were not getting that back. Just to keep the tenants satisfied i would create one.
