Landlord Question and Answer Forum
We just had our tenants move out. They absolutely destroyed our house, but they also left some of their property behind, including a mattress, desk, childs car seat, amongst several other things. Can I dispose of the items?

RE: Tenant left property upon Move out
I would send notice to the tenant, giving them an amount of days to retrieve their things, if they do not respond these items will be disposed.

RE: Tenant left property upon Move out
If your tenant move out and gave you the keys to your unit...that picture of everything, send a letter explaining that they have 24 to 48 hours to pick up there belonging otherwise they will be charge a fee for you to dispose of it.
