How long do I have to file against a tenant that 1. was 4 months behind in rent, 2. left the house in terrible shape? She left furniture behind and I know where she moved (down the street.)

I do a lot of my lease investigating on this website. There is somewhere on here where you will find your state laws that will tell you notice required for everything! Love it!
