Sent tenant 30-day Non-Renewal of Lease Notice. Tenant sent a letter back confirming they would not be renewing their lease (ends March 31st). My question is - they originally had a HUD investigation going on - should I believe they cancelled this or will it continue even if they have moved out? Just want to know how I should handle the next step. Any input or advice would be great!!

The best thing to due since this is your property and you own it would to be to contact your local HUD office. They will be able to tell you everything about the property. The property should be registered with HUD to be able to collect the assistance from the agency.
