Landlord Question and Answer Forum
We have a tenant that moved ( lease was completed) and they have not given a forwarding address.
They left some furniture, a riding lawn mower and car rims. What can we do with these things? We are in Texas.

RE: What to do with property left
You, by law are required to store or hold onto the personal belongings for at least 30 days. You must also send notice of where to pick them up and the date to do so. This can be notice through email posting on the address, or even text message so that there is a paper trail. After the 30 days you can get rid of the belonging by trash or by selling.
