What can I do if the tenant stole the washer, dryer, stove, and frig?

Hello, I am so sorry this happened. If I were put in this situation, I would file a complaint to the police department about the stolen items. Than I would file a claim with the home-owners insurance with the police report. Hope this helps and you can at least get reimbursed.

I would in addition to previous reply, bring civil action, get a judgement, file the credit report with the courts after notice period lapses, then they can't buy a home and in most cases lease again, until you are paid in full.
