Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Does everybody out there change the locks between each tenant? I have been, but it is pretty expensive. I've heard that there is a way of changing the locks oneself. Is anyone aware of this? Also, is it possible to use combination locks? Thx!

RE: Change locks? Avoid locksmith?
There are great new programmable locks in which you can basically just buy the key for it and just update the keys after each tenancy, I believe Kwikset makes them. They also have bluetooth and coded entry that are very affordable and quite the great investment.

RE: Change locks? Avoid locksmith?
Go the Landlordlocks.com. Just change the core of the locks and not the whole set. I am buying them for my new 72-unit apartment complex.
