What if the tenant does not remove their furniture and belonging? Do we have to store everything or is it all our property now?

Yes you must usually store the personal belongings for at least 30 days, each city may have there own regulations. Make sure to forward a notice to the tenants letting them know that they have that much time to claim it and are responsible for any fee incurred by you having to store the property.
