Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hello. My tenants' lease ended, and they've moved out. However, they left a non-working vehicle on the property for 26 days after the lease ended. I was not able to show the house to new tenants, of course! Are there any particular formulas that you guys suggest to calculate the amount owed for losses?

RE: Property left after lease
After 30 days you are legally allowed to discard the property, I know there are organizations like purple heart that will pick up the vehicle from the property. This is the best I can say. As far as gaining money back for lost time or the cost for removing the vehicle you may be able to take the tenant to small claims court for this.
