Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have tenants that were behind in their rent and we mutually agreed to find another tenant which we did and they vacated the home 6 months ago. They were not evicted but had an outstanding balance of just over $2800 (after their deposit) which they agreed to $200 monthly until their balance was paid. They have stopped making payments against their balance and are now non-responsive.
What courses of action are available to me in this case as they still owe a bit over $2,000? The property is in AZ.
Thanks,
Paul

RE: Options to collect from evicted tenants who still owe balance
You could try giving them a demand for payment after move out. If that doesn't work, it's time to take court action.
