Forum / Move-Out & Eviction / unauthorized tenant
I have this problem with this lady and i would like the proper way to get her out of my Unit. she was left in my apartment by a couple i had, I gave her almost weeks already living for free. i gave her a deadline to move out now she told that she couldn't find a place. Again she does not have lease with me. Do i change my lock or?

RE: unauthorized tenant
You cannot change the lock but you can report her to the authorities as a squatter and that she has no right to be there. If you call ad say that she is trespassing they will remove her!

Feature Spotlight: Why do I need A Lease Package?

Those basic leases you can find in office supply stores or buy from online vendors can look appealingly cheap and easy, but chances are, they don't meet all of the legal requirements for binding leases in your state. If you entrust your rental unit to a stand-alone lease, you may not be fully protected, especially if you wind up in court with your tenant over a contract dispute.

By using our exclusive Lease-Builder Wizard with State Assist, you'll get unmatched convenience, peace of mind, and protection for not much more than other sites charge for a generic lease.
