Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have a tenant who left my home in a mess. This tenant was taken to court for eviction. The tenant was told how much to pay and to move out in seven days. On day 12, I filed garnishment for the judgment that was given to me ,by the judge. Today, I received a notice( answerer from her employer ), she has a current bankruptcy on file. Does anyone know, what I can do to recover any funds from her?

RE: Garnishment
Unfortunately you may not be able to, but if you check with their bank or employer you may be able to claim a portion of the paycheck until the amount owed is paid back. You will definately want to check with an attorney for the proper steps to take.
