Landlord Question and Answer Forum
i am about to lease a condo to a woman who is in the process of getting a divorce. Since she is currently unemployed, and the divorce paperwork is not final (and will not be for another month or two, after they sell their house), she has said that her husband will co-sign the lease. Do I just put him on as a "tenant", or how exactly to I write this into the lease? Is there an addendum? I'm sure its just like a college student who has a parent co-sign?

RE: leasing to an in-process divorcee; husband to co-sign
you could have someone as a co-signer, yes.
