My new owner, accidentally allowed tenant to fill out month to month lease. She moved in April 2013. But the lease reflects the start date of the lease is October. After two weeks, having to evict Tenant due to non payment. What are the ramifications because of the error on the date on the lease, Surely, the court will not allow Tenant to stay for free until the lease actually says it starts. I appreciate any help...

You may have the higher up, if the lease doesn't state until October, then the tenant shouldn't be in the unit. Unless this is a lease renewal. I guess at this point, it is in the courts hands.
