Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I'm preparing a lease for my tenant right now. Our current lease expires 7/14/13. The new lease will resume 7/15/13. I would like to get him under contract now for the upcoming year. Does the signing date secure all contractual obligations that begin in the future?

RE: Signing Date v. Start Date
Yes, a signed contract is an agreed upon document. Both parties are agreeing to signed terms.
