Landlord Question and Answer Forum
We currently leased a property that we now wish to sell. The tenant has a lease through June 2014 but we would like to put the home on the market now and arrange to buy the tenants out of their lease if the home sells.
What is the formula for calculating how much we should pay the tenant to buy them out of the lease?

RE: buying out tenant lease
Hmmm... I am not sure, you may want to touch base with an attorney on that one. Or come up with a number that both you and the tenants feel is fair. The cost of moving, setting up new electric, water, cable... it's a pain.
