Landlord Question and Answer Forum
What is a good and fair way to determine the % of total rent payments in a 12 month period in a rent to own contract off the total payment of the home. Meaning total payment of home minus what % of total rent payments that year. What is a general % most people use with a rent to own contract. tks

RE: Wording of Contract
I'm sure you will find plenty suggestions on "Rent to Own" if you do an internet search. Do it for your area. Also, there is more to it than just rent, such as a non-refundable deposit if tenant doesn't perform. Also, you need to be careful of the contract verbiage. Did you know that I could rent from you and sell the property for more $$$ than you agreed to sell it to me?
