What is the benefit of having both adult occupants on lease? Is there one? Is it harder to evict if more than one occupant is listed?

RE: Signing lease

Having all of the adults over the age 18 be listed as a responsible tenant on the lease; makes ALL of those tenants liable for rent and damages, if applicable.
