Forum / Leasing Issues / prorating from move-in period to the end of month
I have created a lease with the lease creation wizard that will be signed today. The tenants will gain possesion of the property today. I have not found a way to show in the lease the amount owed for the few days left this month. How do I do this?

There's an open text box in Step 9 of the lease builder, where you can add those kinds of odds-and-ends.

Another option we use is the "Special Terms and Conditions" area whereas you can break it all down very detailed if needed using just plain lanuage that even a Judge understands. :-)

Feature Spotlight: Why do I need A Lease Package?

Those basic leases you can find in office supply stores or buy from online vendors can look appealingly cheap and easy, but chances are, they don't meet all of the legal requirements for binding leases in your state. If you entrust your rental unit to a stand-alone lease, you may not be fully protected, especially if you wind up in court with your tenant over a contract dispute.

By using our exclusive Lease-Builder Wizard with State Assist, you'll get unmatched convenience, peace of mind, and protection for not much more than other sites charge for a generic lease.
