Property is in Ohio. The tenant did not return and sign renewal lease. The tenant has failed to transfer utilities over into their name. I gave them consideration for rents for Feb-April. We did some labor exchange and I paid him for some repair. He indicated he was going to transfer utilities. They have not been paying the utilities. He went back to work and paid rent for May and June. No utilities transferred or paid. I have notified several times. They have stopped communicating since May. I have sent emails, texts, letters......no responses. Can I turn off the utilities? Time for a lawyer?
