Forum / Leasing Issues / Backing out of lease

We just signed the lease with this particular tenant for 1 year starting in April'20. But tenant hasn't moved in neither has made the necessary deposit that I asked for. I am not getting good feel about this tenant due to prior history and want to back out of the lease contract. Can I still back out of the contract ?
