Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hi,
I live and work on my property and rent two rooms to local ski instructors. Since I live here, am I allowed to require renters to keep their firearms in storage or anyone besides on my property? I am not questioning their second amendment rights. I've just had some drama with a couple of the renters last year and the sheriff had to come out to my home on multiple occasions. Since I live here, I'd like to feel safer in my own home. Any thoughts on this? (please, no pro/anti gun debate here, I just want to know what I'm allowed to do on my own personal property, thanks).

Yes, It's your property you have the right to make it part of the lease.
