Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have renters who have a lease stating they are required to have renters insurance. They're about halfway though their lease. I met with my own insurance agent the other day to discuss some matters, which prompted me to get a copy of the current renters policy. They didn't get one.
Am I at fault for not having asked for a copy at move-in?
If they finish their lease with coverage from today through end of lease, am I covered for anything that happens now til the end, or anything I find on move-out?
Can I terminate the lease or should I ride it out?
Any other hints, tips, etc?

RE: Renters Insurance, None
I would have them sign a waiver of insurance removing you from any responsibility.
