my dad had some property and had a lease for one year that expires 10-31-18. he has passed away in March. is the lease still in effect or did it change to month to month. Thanks

So he was the landlord and someone else is renting it from him? At this point even if it changed to month to month you'd really only be ending it 1 month early.
