Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My lease that I signed five years a go was never renewed, so I was told that the landlord do not need to give us a new one, so I believe we are on a month to month, but I would like to know are the rules of the lease still valid.

RE: lease
Yes the lease will still be valid if in the lease is states that once lease expires it will be a month to month tenancy. The rules that would change is the amount of time to give notice to tenants on the month to month.
