Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My question is as follows: My renter's lease expires the end of August 2016 and we agreed on month to month rental. I verbally told my renter the rent will go up $50 a month Starting September 1st. Do I need to make a letter in writing?

RE: Month to month Rental
It is always best to have everything in writing. Just in case: no matter how good the renter having physical proof is being safe. Good luck!
