Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenants signed a yr lease in May. They were great in the beginning but now have decided to stop paying and are looking for a ne place to rent. They have done nothing but told me lies since the beginning of July. I am going to contact an attorney to see what my options are. Any advice on what I should do?
Thank you for the response I got from my other post.

RE: renters are wanting out of there yr lease.
Yes definitely contact your attorney!!! Get them out. Let them out of the lease for a price though. At least charge them one months rent to break the lease. If they owe money get them to pay that as well!! That is not a fun situation, especially when you feel lied to.
