My new tenants and I signed lease for May 1st. They want to move in sooner, April 18. Do I need to change dates on lease to reflect early move in. Or simply collect pro-rated amount for April? Belinda

I would simply make a separate addendum to the lease stating the actual move in day as well as the pro-rated price. Have everything in paper so there is proof for worst case scenarios.
