i recently vacated from a residence but before vacating, i did a walk through with the landlord and made sure that everything was ok. i asked for the deposit but she said she would be talking to her realtor and get back to me. i handed over the keys to him and departed. after not hearing from her for sometime, i called and asked what was going on, she indicated that she will send me a list of the damages to the property. but as far as i am concerned, there was no damage to the property when i was vacating the premises. what are my rights?

Under South Carolina law, a landlord must return the tenant's security deposit within 30 days after the tenant has moved out.
