Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Bathtub ran over repeatedly causing floor to rot. Renter living in residence 4 years. Floor is ceramic tile, which is now cracked and floor only underneath front of bathtub and behind toilet is rotting. There are no water leaks. Is this covered under rental insurance on home?
Tub will have to be pulled out, along with toilet, floor replaced and everything put back.

RE: Renter Negligence
Insurance company probably will. Need to check your policy. You should have tenant pay for damages. You're talking major repairs. Q - how do you know that the tub ran over REPEATEDLY?
