Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I received a delinquent notice from the Water district stating that there was a delinquint amount of $709 for water. The tenant hadn't paid their water bill in over a year!! NOW if they don't pay by 15 NOV then the amount goes against my property taxes! Renter is Section 8 for housing and a pain in the butt to get rent or anything that's owed to me. I live in a seperate state as well. What advice does anyone have for this situation. HELP.

RE: Non-Payment of water utilities
If you stated in the lease that they had to pay the water bill, then they are liable. You can send them a "Notice to Report Delinquent Payments".
