Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hi all. I own a small apartment and my current insurance company,Travelers, wants to non-renew my policy because my roof hasn't been updated in the last 20 years. The roof has no problems and, even if I wanted to, I can't afford spending money on it now. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get around this?

RE: Insurance Inspection/High Premium
I'd price out other policies, if they're being insistent about it. Who knows, maybe you'll get a better deal elsewhere. And remember to provide as little data as you possibly can to the insurance companies you're getting quotes from, more info = more problems for you.
