Lien

I had a contractor that did not complete the work and admitted to it. He then asked that I reimburse him for supplies, which I agree to do. He then gives me a supply figure of $600.00 of the total job cost was to be $900.00. I asked him to supply me receipts and he did not and I left it at that. Fast forward a year and a half, I went to refinance and discovered he put a contractors lien on the rental property. He never notified me and has not acted on the lien. Any advice would be appreciated.
