Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Does any one have any detailed information or resources about what the landlord is responsible for during a hurricane - in this case Florida? I use the state specific (Florida) lease provided on this site, but the lease does not specify if the landlord is responsible for providing alternative housing (hotel?) for tenants in the event that they need to evacuate or if the home is left uninhabitable for a period of time if there is damage or flooding. Any info would be appreciated!
