Landlord Question and Answer Forum
The Tenant Guest policy printed off of the system did not include the number of days. I'd like to correct it now. The tenant has been in the unit for 6 months now. I was going to send an addenda to correct the omission and say that the updated policy will be in effect in 30 days.
Would I be wrong? Or is there a better way to do it.

RE: Tenant Guest Policy
No that is the absolute best way to do this. Go with your gut, you need to send an amendment not an addendum. You are changing the lease, but the rest is spot on.

RE: Tenant Guest Policy
So how does this work then? Say that I add an amendment, but the tenant says no. Do they have a recourse at that point...as likely the lease is not ending soon.
