Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Texas lease.
One tenant, signer on lease, left relationship with other tenant also a signer on lease and moved out.
Do I need to change lease to have only current tenant remaining on lease?
Is this an issue to terminate lease for cause?
Tenant has not informed landlord, but landlord has found out thruy social media.
any help is appreciated.

RE: one tenant move out other stayed
Depending on Texas law, I would assume tenant that left would be required to give you proper notice to vacate. They may still be responsible for rent until such notice is given or lease agreement. Best to have a chat with the remaining tenant as to what their plans are. This should help on your decision making. Keep us posted if you have more info.
