Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Our community has bylaws and I'd like our tenants to be aware of the guidelines listed in the HOA official documents. Is it better to call out specific items, or can I include a link to the bylaws within the special terms and conditions section?
Thanks! Mariela Gomez

RE: Including HOA bylaws in lease
Check what your CC&Rs state. See if you can get a pdf copy from management/Board and send it to tenant.

RE: Including HOA bylaws in lease
Along with their lease, I give them a printed copy of my HOA documents with highlighted pertinent items they will need to know, then I ask them to specifically go through it and read the highlighted areas. Otherwise tenants are not likely to read a whole document regarding a property they do not even own.
