we rent apartments with washer and dryer included in the rent and also heat and hydro if a tenant is often doing laundry during anytime of the day when they are only 2 people in the apartment ex: 4 or 5 times a week is there any law or can we charge extra fees it's just ridiculous and the same with the lights open everywhere during the day like really it's pisses me off just taking advantage can get advise please and tks sue

I would create a guideline of how much you will allow the bills to go up to, than when the tenant goes over this amount they are to pay the difference. Than you can send them an excessive utility notice so they can pay you the difference. Good luck. I hope I was able to help!
