Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenant signed the lease electronically. It doesn't consist of their actual signatures. Instead it does have their names printed out on the tenant signature lines.
Is it okay and legal?

RE: Electronic signature
Yes, if they signed it electronically with an e-signing service the name would be embedded with a digital code that acts as a real signature. It can be linked to an IP address or Email as a professionally understood and legal signature.

RE: Electronic signature
Great question. Which electronic signing service are you using?
