Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have a new tenant that mentioned they have a gun and will have it secured in a safe. They also have a permit to carry from the State of Ohio. What type of language can I include in the Rental Agreetment regarding this? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

RE: Gun in Rental Property
You can write into the lease that all licensed fire arms must be kept in a locked safe separated from ammunition. You may also want them to to sign an addendum that notes that you are not responsible for any circumstances or issues that arise do to firearm mishaps.
