Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenant was at fault in causing a fire in my building by destroying one unit and causing damage to the unit next door.
Is the tenant due the deposit back?

RE: tenant fire
No, as long as you proof that this tenant was responsible. They may also be responsible for any other damages, did you require renters insurance? This may help save you from any headaches in the future.
