Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have a tenant with a complaint of mice. Yuck. Want to take care of problem. Mice generally enter homes this time of year, when it starts to get colder. I know it is the landlord (my) responsibility to remedy the situation. My question is what steps must I take. Can I provide traps for the tenants. This is how I solve the problem in my own home this time of year. Is it reasonable to ask tenants to first attempt to use traps prior to hiring an exterminator? I do not want problems with tenants and want to be reasonable. Thanks for any advice.
