Can I change the wording of a document?

Many of our documents are now editable. Look for the Edit Document link next to documents in the library to find editable documents. You can also create your own custom documents with any content you choose.
If there is an error or something that you would like to see changed or added to a document, please write to us on the contact us page.

How will I know the lease was signed?

In your saved documents, under the lease that was sent for signatures, will show the read receipts.
It will show to whom the lease was sent to and if it was opened yet. It will send the esign email to one tenant at a time, so it will show to whom the esign email is sent to.
Once the first tenant signs, the eSign email is sent to the next tenant and the read receipts will show the next tenants email, and whether it was read or not.
Once all tenants have signed, the signed lease will be sent to you and your tenants.

What's the difference between Pro and Free accounts?

Pro account holders have the ability to create State Specific Leases for their documents that comply with state laws. This comprehensive lease includes everything from tenants and lease terms to addendums and sections for your own custom text. Pro account holders also have access to ezSign leases, storing a legally binding copy signed by the tenants. They can create custom documents and save copies of the documents they have shared with tenants.
Free account holders have access to a 2 page basic lease, which is not State Specific. Free accounts allow users to print any of our
free forms use our
free resources (such as the Landlord Forum, our directory of Real Estate Investing Clubs, our Real Estate Investing Articles Library, and much more), test drive our Pro documents, and preview our Pro forms. Pro accounts allow users to print or email our Pro forms, in addition to our free forms. With a Pro account, ezCloud storage allows you to store all of your information so you never lose anything. You will be able to retrieve copies of older forms and download already created documents.

Will I be automatically charged?

Pro subscription members are charged Monthly, Yearly, or one-time for the Lifetime Membership. Pro memberships are automatically charged when they add additional rental units, see “How do charges for adding rental units work” for more information.
Free account holders have no charges and do not add a credit card on file. They do not have access to Pro Member benefits such as the full State-Specific Lease and ezSign.

Only one tenant received the email to ezSign. Why didn’t the others get it?

Our Esign emails will be sent out one-tenant-at-a-time. So, once the first tenant signs and agrees, the esign email will be sent to the next tenant. So on and so forth.
When all tenants have signed, the landlord and all tenants will receive the email with the signed agreement.
The landlord will also be able to download the signed agreement from their ezLandlordforms account.

My applicant said they are getting an error message when they try to complete the application, what does this mean?

If any of the applicant's information is including a typo, or the applicant entered invalid information they will receive this error message with a number to call. If this is the case,our reps can resume the progress so they can fix the errors, please click on LIVE HELP ONLINE NOW.
If the information was entered correctly, they will need to call the number provided in the error message to be manually verified by transunion.

How do auto charges for adding rental units work?

If you add more rental units to your Pro Membership, you will be automatically charged a small fee on your normal monthly payment date or on the date of the month that you made your first payment.
For example, a Pro Monthly member will be charged a higher rate at their next monthly charge date. A Pro Yearly or Lifetime Member who first signed up on January 1st, then on January 15th added a new rental unit,, will be charged for this new rental unit on February 1st.
