The “28 Day Notice to Terminate Tenancy” specifies that the tenant must vacate the premises OR face eviction.

Who: This notice is given to a tenant when the landlord wishes to terminate the tenancy.

What: The 28 Day Notice to Terminate Tenancy is the required notice used if a Landlord wishes to obtain possession of the rental unit and terminate a current tenancy.

When: Serve this document with notice of at least one periodic tenancy.

IMPORTANT Wisconsin has complicated eviction requirements. It is suggested that an attorney be consulted before attempting an eviction.
