This is given to a tenant who has a lease of more then one year and is behind on the rent, or has violated the lease agreement.
The 30 Day Notice to Cure or Vacate Premises is the required notice used before eviction proceedings are initiated.
Use this notice at least 30 days before filing in the appropriate court for an eviction, provided the tenant has not paid or cured the violation.
Wisconsin has complicated eviction requirements. It is suggested that an attorney be consulted before attempting an eviction.
Note: Service of Notice requirements may differ from county to county.
