New Jersey 30 Day Notice to Quit

Document Description

This Notice is used when there is a violation of the Landlord’s rules and regulations AND/OR a violation of the lease or rental agreement.

Who: This is given to a Tenant when there is a violation of the Landlord’s rules and regulations AND/OR a violation of the lease or rental agreement.

What: The 30 Day Notice to Quit warns the Tenant to vacate or face eviction.

When: This is served on a Tenant at least 30 days before filing in a New Jersey court for eviction and AFTER a Notice to Cease is served.

VERY IMPORTANT: A Notice to Cease must be served BEFORE serving a 30 Day Notice to Quit.
